Collette is a high-end luxury consignment apparel and
home décor brand that caters to lovers of the unique and opulent in
the Hamptons and Manhattan. Through its special access to the
exquisite collections of these communities, Collette is privileged to
host some of the nest inventory in the world.
Collette’s decorator
and collector clientele are eager to share when a beautiful,
authenticated piece has been sourced from our stores.

Collette was founded in 2000 by Tisha Collette, with the first
resale apparel shop in Southampton on Jobs Lane. Renowned
designer Carolina Herrera was her very first customer!
Soon, home décor was added to the apparel offerings. Today
Collette has grown to four locations throughout the
Hamptons and a fifth in Manhattan on the Upper East Side’s
unfalteringly elegant Madison Avenue.

Tisha’s love of perpetuating the value of well-made, beautiful items through resale was sparked early in her life. Raised by an entrepreneurial family with a can-do atmosphere. Her grandparents ran a successful private disposal service in Orange County, California, where she grew up. She attended high school in the Bay Area. And at 19, brimming with unbridled entrepreneurial spirit, moved to New York City to start her career with just $1,500 to her name. She began by modeling, went on to work in hospitality, then real estate, and opened the first Collette store at 28 while raising her first child. Tisha put her family’s business know-how to work and built Collette into a well-known brand.

In addition to brick and mortar and online retail shopping, Collette offers interior design, personal styling, delivery, estate sale management, and white glove consignment service.

Shopping at Collette feels good, because it is! Resale Shopping is 100 percent recycled by definition, and the mainstay of the circular economy movement to reduce waste. The purchase of a single sofa at Collette can save 70 kilograms of CO2 emissions from being released into the environment! In our commitment to the recycling of durable and beautiful goods, anything that remains from estate sales facilitated by Collette is sold or donated to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Finally, each of the Collette stores is a beautiful destination, each carefully curated and designed. The brand’s loyal core following of customers and decorators have come to coin the term “Colletteing” to describe the experience of enjoying Collette store location hopping.

Tisha is a single mom of two children, and describes her home as a revolving family farm, a reflection of her love of animals. There are always several dogs, cats, and chickens running around. She’s even welcomed several nonprofit animal rescue organizations to Collette locations for events over the years.

MISSION STATEMENT

We are a luxury resale company that selects only the finest quality items
for our discerning clientele, while providing a hands-on approach to our consignors. Collette is dedicated to its commitment to the circular economy, preserving beautiful goods, and the environment.
